Q: How do I get the most out of my session with Jessie?
A: #1 First and foremost, come to your session with the knowing that you are entering a safe, loving space that is free from judgement. Know that Jessie sees you as a spark of the Divine, just like everyone else, no matter your past, your present, or your future desires.
#2 Try and arrive with plenty of time to achieve a state of calm before your session begins. Jessie will lead you through a short process to calm your nervous system before beginning the session, but the more relaxed state in which you arrive, the better the session can serve you.
#3 Arrive with an open mind and an open heart. A practice you can do to achieve this is to set an intention upon waking on the day of our session. Say or write something like: “May I arrive at my session today with an open mind and an open heart, for my highest good, and for the benefit of all beings.”
#4 Wear clothes that make you feel comfortable and cozy. Constricting clothing can distract you from receiving the full benefit of the work. Clothes that allow you to relax will in turn allow your body and mind to be in a relaxed state, proving the most optimal state for healing to occur.
#5 Try not to have any major plans or responsibilities outside of yourself after your session. If you’re a parent or caretaker, arrange to have some time before those duties are required of you again.
#6 Abstain from using alcohol or recreational drugs at least 24 hours prior to your session. These substances can reduce the energy that’s needed for you to have the deepest benefit from your session. It’s best to abstain after your session as well, as the integration process can last for several days or even weeks.
Q: How can I prepare for a Soul Contract Reading?
A: While there's no specific action required to prepare for your session, you may want to journal on, or simply contemplate a few questions to bring past experiences to the top of your awareness. Here are a few suggestions:

A: Your experience is unique to you, and there is no right or wrong way to feel after a session. Some people feel energized, others feel exhausted, or somewhere in between. Emotionally, you may feel happy, somewhat despondent, or even sad. Again, all feelings are totally normal, and you can expect to feel the effects of your session for several days, or even weeks, afterwards. If you’re feeling particularly uncomfortable, please do not hesitate to reach out to Jessie for additional support.
Q: What can I do after my session to get the greatest benefit from it?
A: #1 Go easy on yourself, physically, intellectually, and emotionally. Do something that feels grounding to you, such as a gentle walk in nature, a warm shower or bath, or even cook a nourishing meal.
#2 Drink plenty of water - just as you would after a deep bodywork session. Contrary to what one may think, the effects of a spiritual healing will be felt by the physical body – it is the vessel for your spirit after all.
#3 Try and resist any desire to share your experience with others immediately. If your mind is busy trying to process the session, you might write in a journal or speak into a recording device to fulfill the desire to share straightaway. You may be surprised how personal and sacred a session may feel once given some space, and time will allow for your choice to share to be a clear one.
#4 Express gratitude for the blessings in your life, through journaling, prayer, or even a creative offering such as painting or dancing. Being in a state of gratitude releases tension, and therefore energy, freeing it up for the most gentle and effective integration of the work.
